You might recognise the panda, but if you don’t know WWF, we exist to protect wildlife and nature. WWF is the world’s leading independent conservation organisation.
Our mission is to create a world where people and wildlife can thrive together. To achieve our mission, we’re finding ways to help transform the future for the world’s wildlife, rivers, forests and seas; pushing for a reduction in carbon emissions that will avoid catastrophic climate change; and pressing for measures to help people live sustainably, within the means of our one planet. We’re acting now to make this happen.
To help fund our vital conservation work we rely on the support of fundraisers. This could be a fun challenge for you to set your group.
The fundraiser can be something as small as a bake sale or ‘wear it wild’ day to as big as a summer fete, the possibilities are endless, so let your imagination run wild!
The community spirit and network of Girlguiding groups can make a real difference to our fundraising efforts and allow us to do what we do best to help bring our world back to life.
If you are looking for some guidance or inspiration why not request one of our fabulous WWF fundraising packs at https://www.wwf.org.uk/fundraise/do-your-own-fundraising , where you can also find some great fundraising resources, games and posters.
