Susan Wiseman

I joined Girlguiding as a Brownie in Northampton preceding to Guides and following Queens Guide to being a Young Leader. Then followed a 14 year break during which I trained as a nurse in London, met and married my husband and had the first 2 of 3 daughters. I spotted a notice in the local library appealing for new Guiders in Buckhurst Hill and offered my services. I have now been with the 2nd Buckhurst Hill Guides for 30 years. I have also served as District Commissioner and Division Commissioner for Epping Forest South.

I have had the privilege to serve as an Assistant County Commissioners since 2015. I love being able to meet girls and Leaders at all levels and to share with girls the enormous enjoyment that I have had from Guiding over so many years.
