Laura Kennard

I have been an adult member of Girlguiding for over 15 years, across the years I have held many roles including Unit Leader to Trainer. For the last 8 years I have been the chair of Business and Finance for Essex West and for the last 5 years I have been the County Treasurer. My role is varied and diverse and at times can be very busy. I work closely with the County Exec and the County Office to make payments, collect income and complete our end of year accounts for submission to the Charity Commission every year.

I have had many wonderful experiences in Guiding including taking Rangers to Croatia last year and working as Staff at EIJ2012. In my spare time I teach scuba diving and enjoy travelling.
